Carbon Fiber Project Deposit

Minimum order / deposit to start a carbon fiber project with MMD Studio: 350 CAD.

This deposit starts project review, style selection, scheduling, and the first preparation block for carbon lamination or full carbon fiber part fabrication.

Carbon lamination: small simple parts can start around 100 CAD, but the minimum order is 350 CAD. Mirror caps and similar automotive pieces are commonly around 300-500 CAD per piece depending on vehicle, surface complexity, holes and preparation. Large console panels or complex interior pieces with many recesses and openings are commonly around 800-2000 CAD per piece.

100% carbon fiber parts: vacuum infusion, wet layup, or molded parts are quoted individually. Small simple carbon parts usually start around 200-300 CAD. Medium parts such as mirror-cap style pieces are commonly around 600-1500 CAD per piece. Large or complex carbon parts with many curves, openings, trimming and finish work are commonly around 1600-6000 CAD per piece. Mold/tooling work is estimated separately when required.
