A new composite part, formed in a mold. Vacuum draws resin through dry reinforcement to create the component itself—not a decorative layer over an existing part.

How it works

A production route built around the tooling.

Geometry, material and mold access determine what can be made. We define the part first, then agree on the tooling and production plan.

    Brief & feasibility

    Sign in to the portal using the email code and create a Vacuum Infusion request. Share the intended use, dimensions, quantity, photos and available drawings. We assess geometry, materials and the need for tooling.

  2. 02

    Tooling & approval

    We agree on the mold, scope, price and schedule. The deposit is usually around 25%; your quote states the exact amount. Send a sample or original part only after we confirm it is needed and provide instructions.

  3. 03

    Dry layup & infusion

    The mold is prepared, reinforcement and flow materials are placed, and the sealed vacuum bag is checked for leaks. Resin is then drawn through the reinforcement before the laminate is left to cure.

  4. 04

    Demold & finish

    The cured part is released, trimmed and finished to the agreed scope. We review dimensions and share an update in the portal before arranging handoff. Installation, testing or certification are agreed separately.

Before resin flows, the details matter.

Bring a sample, a sketch or design files. Dimensions, mounting points and intended use help us decide whether infusion is a practical route. Tooling is reviewed and quoted separately.

Before you start

What does vacuum infusion cost?

Existing guide ranges: small simple parts approximately CA$200–300; medium automotive parts CA$600–1,500 each; large or complex parts CA$1,600–6,000. These are estimates, not fixed offers. Tooling is quoted separately; your written quote confirms the scope and price.

Do I need to send you an original part?

Not always. Start with photos, dimensions and any design files. We first agree whether your original part, an existing mold or new tooling is needed. Do not mail anything before receiving instructions.

Can you make structural or safety-critical parts?

Intended loads, temperature and use must be disclosed before quoting. Appearance alone does not establish structural performance. Engineering, testing or certification requirements must be agreed separately; we do not promise suitability for every application.

How long will it take?

Timing depends on tooling, material availability, curing and finishing. We agree on the schedule for your project before work starts rather than promise a standard turnaround.
