Reverse Engineering Project Deposit

Minimum order / deposit to start a reverse engineering project with MMD Studio: 150 CAD.

This deposit reserves project review, scheduling, and initial CAD/reconstruction work. Reverse engineering and CAD reconstruction are billed at 30 CAD per hour. The minimum project order is 150 CAD. If the project requires local measurement, 3D scanning, or test fitting, MMD Studio will confirm the estimated scope before work begins.

Customers in Calgary can arrange local handoff or pickup. For projects outside Calgary, the part must be shipped to MMD Studio. Optional 3D printing of the finished model can be quoted separately after the model is complete.

Optional 3D printing: printing time is billed at 2.5 CAD per hour plus material cost. Material is charged by full kilogram increments with a minimum of 1 kg. For example, if a part uses 100 g of plastic, material is still billed as 1 kg. If a part or batch uses 1.2 kg, material is billed as 2 kg.
